FRANCE Agriculture / Permanent Crops & Tree Groves / Vineyards REV 1m EUR - 100m EUR

Context

Crédit Agricole is taking a minority stake in Domaine Louis Moreau, the Chablis family estate, through two of its own investment vehicles, in an operation announced on 15 September 2026. The Caisse régionale de Champagne-Bourgogne invests via CACB'Invest, advised by Carvest, while IDIA Capital Investissement subscribes through its Grands Crus Investissements vehicle. The primary operation is structured to prepare the progressive transfer of the estate to the daughters of Louis and Anne Moreau, representatives of the seventh generation, and to support a new growth cycle running to 2032. Beyond succession, the stated objectives are the continued conversion of the 86-hectare vineyard to organic farming, financing of an oenotourism activity, consolidation of the production tool and development of export sales. Anne and Louis Moreau said the partnership would let them carry through the conversion to organic viticulture, structure the oenotourism offer and consolidate production. IDIA Capital Investissement is Crédit Agricole's national proprietary management company, a long-term minority financial shareholder in SMEs and mid-sized companies, with expertise in agrifood, health and energy transition. Carvest, a subsidiary of 11 Crédit Agricole regional banks including Champagne-Bourgogne, manages close to 170 regional shareholdings and handles capital development and transmission operations. The Crédit Agricole de Champagne-Bourgogne covers the Aube, Côte-d'Or, Haute-Marne and Yonne departments.
