BOWMARK takes majority stake in INFRAXMEDIA

UNITED KINGDOM Media & Internet / Content & Publishing REV £10–30M

Context

Bowmark Capital acquired a majority stake in InfraXmedia, the UK business-to-business media, events and intelligence platform for the digital infrastructure sector, from Opus Origin, which exited its position through the sale. At the time of the deal, InfraXmedia generated revenue of £10–30M and an EBITDA of £0–5M, having grown revenue by more than 40% a year in the preceding years, driven by the international expansion of its events brands and the growth of its sales enablement and learning platforms. Chief executive Dan Loosemore and the existing management team stayed in place. Bowmark’s investment was intended to fund the development of DCD Intelligence, the company’s new market intelligence product, further international expansion of the events business, additional technology and AI capabilities, and selective acquisitions. The sale process had been prepared with Harris Williams, with press reports of an exploration in May 2026 and a launch expected before that summer. RAN Advisory acted as M&A adviser and Travers Smith as legal counsel to Bowmark, while Slaughter and May advised the sellers.
