STEREO CREATIVE acquired by KOTO
Context
Koto acquired Stereo Creative, the international creative studio, in a deal announced in September 2026, its first purchase since WestBridge invested in the London agency in April 2025. Stereo Creative became the first company in the newly formed Koto Group, which the combination took to 230 people across eight studios in London, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Portland, Dubai and Sydney, adding San Francisco, Portland and Dubai to Koto’s existing network. The two businesses worked at different points of the same chain. Koto defines what a brand stands for and designs its identity, while Stereo Creative produces the campaigns and ongoing content through which that brand reaches its audience, with particular depth in sport, entertainment, consumer goods and technology. Together they could take a client from brand definition through to the material published day to day. Chief executive James Greenfield called the deal an important milestone for Koto and a strong first acquisition since WestBridge’s investment. It was the first of several planned purchases of founder-led creative companies, as Koto built a global agency group to meet demand from international brands for integrated, creatively led services.
