NEXTSTAGE invests in CORAVIA

FRANCE Life Sciences / Medical Devices / Medical Consumables REV €25–50M

Context

NextStage AM acquired a minority stake in Coravia, the Bordeaux-based group serving the ageing population, through its NextStage Championnes IV fund, in a transaction announced on 15 October 2026. It invested 19 million euros in shares and bonds, allowing the three existing investors, Aquiti, UI Investissement and Siparex Entrepreneurs, to exit after five years, while the founding family and the management team stayed in the capital. LCL, Crédit Agricole Charente-Périgord and Bpifrance provided the bank financing. It was the group’s third leveraged transaction. Alongside the investment, Coravia acquired Medissimo, which prepares and secures medication doses, and integrated Telegrafik, the Toulouse-based remote monitoring platform, through a contribution of shares. Medissimo added close to 10 million euros of revenue, taking the group’s turnover to €25–50M, with more than 275 employees serving over 8,000 pharmacies and 3,000 care homes. Medissimo extends the group beyond institutions and into home care, where its pill dispensers and digital tools complement the dose preparation activity Coravia already runs through its Oreus subsidiary. Together with therapeutic footwear, nurse-call systems and remote monitoring sensors, the group now covers mobility, medication safety and the detection of loss of autonomy, the three areas in which NextStage AM saw a platform for the ageing population. CMS Francis Lefebvre acted as legal counsel to NextStage AM, with Accuracy on financial due diligence. Coravia was advised by Entrepreneur & Finance, with Advéo as legal counsel and Crowe-Becouze on financial due diligence, while ETXE Finance and Peren Avocats advised Medissimo.
