Wanstor acquired by Previder

UNITED KINGDOM IT Services / Infrastructure & Cloud / MSP (Managed Services) REV £10–30M

Context

Previder, the Dutch IT services company owned by Odin Group, acquired Wanstor in October 2026, its first move into the United Kingdom after the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Chief executive Francesca White and chief operating officer Manmit Rai stayed in their roles, and the company continued to trade under its own name. Founded in 2002 and based in London, Wanstor runs the IT of other organisations. Its service desk answers calls at any hour, its engineers maintain the networks, servers and cloud environments its clients depend on, and its specialists handle cybersecurity, data and the configuration of the applications employees use each day. It employs around 200 people, with engineers distributed across the country rather than concentrated in one office, and generated revenue of £26m and an EBITDA of £0–5M. Mid-sized organisations outsource this work because the alternative is recruiting specialists in half a dozen disciplines, each scarce and none fully occupied by a single company. The relationship is durable once established: the provider holds the knowledge of how the client’s systems are configured, and replacing it means transferring that knowledge to someone who must learn it from scratch. For Previder, the purchase supplied what cannot be built quickly in a new country: engineers who know the local market, clients already served and a brand customers recognise. British organisations buying managed services rarely appoint a provider without a presence in the country, since the engineers must be able to attend a site. Wanstor becomes the base for the group’s further expansion in Britain, while gaining access to the infrastructure and specialist capacity of a larger organisation. Clearwater acted as exclusive sell-side adviser to Wanstor.
