Turpaz Industries takes majority stake in Attractive Scent
Context
The founders of Attractive Scent, Marc Langasque and Arnaud Fourre, sold a 68.6% controlling stake in the French fragrance house to Turpaz Industries (TASE: TRPZ) for an enterprise value of €20–50M, a transaction completed in October 2026. The agreement provides for the founders to retain a minority position and includes a mechanism for Turpaz to buy the remaining shares, priced against Attractive Scent's future business performance. Langasque and Fourre stay on to run the company and will also join the management team of Turpaz's Fragrance Division. The deal is a step in Turpaz's acquisition strategy: it gives the Israeli flavours and fragrances group a geographic platform for faster entry into global luxury perfumery and broadens its presence across fragrance segments. The group also intends to capture synergies between Attractive Scent and its other subsidiaries, pairing the target's perfumers, creative capability and innovation with Turpaz's international infrastructure. On the target side, combining Attractive Scent's creative work with Turpaz's global footprint is meant to widen the fragrance range and open new markets, while accelerating business development with greater support behind it. Founded in 2018 and based in Saint-Cézaire sur Siagne, in the Grasse perfume cluster, Attractive Scent develops, manufactures and markets fragrance extracts for fine fragrances, personal care, cosmetics, air care and candles. Its clients include brands, independent perfumer-creators, packaging companies and businesses building their own perfume lines. The company employs 61 people. It sells to customers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America. Revenue reached €5–25M in 2024, up 28% between 2023 and 2024, with EBITDA of €0–5M, a 39% increase.
