MIPI acquired by COLIS PRIVE

Colis Privé, the French last-mile parcel delivery company owned by CEVA Logistics, the logistics arm of CMA CGM, acquired MIPI, a Paris-based start-up specialising in urban delivery, in a deal effective on 11 September 2025. MIPI's founder, Yasmine Iamarene, became chief executive of the Colis Privé Group while keeping her executive role at MIPI, which joined the group as a subsidiary. Founded in 2020 under the name Midi Pile, MIPI had reached revenue of and employed more than 300 delivery drivers across the Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Lille and Bordeaux areas, with women making up 40% of its workforce. Colis Privé, founded in Aix-en-Provence in 1993, had belonged to the Hopps group until CEVA Logistics took control of it in 2022 to enter the last-mile market. In 2024, it delivered more than 90 million parcels with 3,800 drivers, five hubs, 51 agencies and 9,500 pick-up points, and its 400 electric vehicles made 21% of its deliveries low-carbon. The purchase was designed to round out Colis Privé's last-mile offer in France with MIPI's model of matching the vehicle to the parcel and to the customer, using cargo bikes, electric scooters and natural gas, hybrid or electric vans. Frédéric Obala, senior vice president for e-commerce at CEVA Logistics, said MIPI would strengthen the group's ability to provide flexible and reliable delivery while paying closer attention to the environment and to working conditions. Yasmine Iamarene presented the combination as a joint project to show that service quality, fair treatment of drivers and the ecological transition could go together in last-mile transport, with MIPI drawing on Colis Privé's 30 years of experience.
