SEJESCAR acquired by MSA MIZAR
Context
MSA Mizar acquired 100% of Sejescar from the founding Aguirre family, adding the Spanish electrical damage repair specialist to its Iberian platform built around Veta+. The transaction was announced in October 2026, nine months after TowerBrook took a majority stake in MSA Mizar in January, alongside Columna Capital and executive chairman Giovanni Campus as minority shareholders. Sejescar operates as a vertical business line within Veta+, the group's entity dedicated to end-to-end Property claims management in Spain. Jesús Andrés Aguirre Mateo, CEO of Sejescar and a member of the founding family, remained in his role and joined the management committee of MSA Mizar in Spain. The company reported an EBITDA of in 2025, ranking third in Spain by turnover in its segment. The acquisition was the eleventh completed by MSA Mizar since Columna Capital first invested in the group in 2022, and followed the purchase of Veta+ in 2024. KPMG advised MSA Mizar on financial, accounting and tax matters, while Pérez-Llorca handled the legal aspects. KPMG also acted as advisor to Sejescar. The deal was carried out under the group's Shine2030 industrial plan, which provides for investment in technology and artificial intelligence over the next five years and further expansion in key markets including the United Kingdom and Germany. Concurrently, MSA Mizar announced the creation of a Group M&A Department based in London and reporting directly to group CEO Antonio Marchitelli, led by Seetal Patel, formerly associate director of corporate development at Davies Group with previous experience at PwC Deals Advisory.
