Knights Group acquires the Commercial and Private Wealth divisions of Moore Barlow, a South East England regional law firm, as part of its ongoing geographical expansion strategy. The transaction, announced in August 2026 and expected to close on November 1, 2026, follows the acquisition of THP Solicitors in the Thames Valley, reflecting an acceleration in deal pace. The strategic logic rests on strengthening Knights' presence in the South East and South Central regions, attractive markets where the group identifies significant opportunities. The acquisition brings Knights significantly greater scale across these regions, with more than 160 additional fee earners and enhanced expertise in real estate, private wealth, and landed estates. The deal enables Knights to combine Moore Barlow's established client relationships and specialist expertise with the breadth of its national platform. This transaction demonstrates Knights' continued strategy of investing in high-quality regional businesses while preserving local knowledge and trusted relationships.
