LOCAMODUL acquired by KILOUTOU
Context
Kiloutou acquired Locamodul, the Rhône-Alpes specialist in renting modular buildings and containers, in February 2020, from its managing director and majority shareholder Frédéric Laperrousaz. Based in Alby-sur-Chéran, Locamodul operated two branches, in Annecy and Grenoble, with a fleet of more than 3,500 prefabricated modules and containers and a team of about 20 people serving construction, industrial, events and local authority customers. Executive chairman Olivier Colleau presented the purchase as part of Kiloutou's multi-specialist strategy in France and its aim of building a national position in modular space rental, alongside the rest of its equipment range. Frédéric Laperrousaz said joining Kiloutou would give Locamodul additional resources for its customers and employees. The deal extended Kiloutou Module, the group's modular space rental business, into Rhône-Alpes, adding to its existing locations in the Paris region, the north of France, Angers, Nantes, Toulouse and Bordeaux.

Target
Based in Alby-sur-Chéran, in Haute-Savoie, Locamodul rents prefabricated modular buildings and containers across the Rhône-Alpes region from two branches, in Annecy and Grenoble. Its units provide temporary offices, site facilities and storage for construction companies, industrial firms, event organisers and local authorities, which hire them for the duration of a worksite, a project or an event. The company keeps its own fleet of modules and containers and supplies them to customers throughout the Alps area around its two branches.
