Context

J.C. Flowers agreed on 28 October 2024 to acquire a controlling interest (79%) in Consulbrokers, the Milan-based insurance broker, from the company's shareholders, with completion expected in the first half of 2025 subject to government approvals and contractual conditions. The investment was to fund the development plan approved by Consulbrokers' shareholders at the end of 2023, built on acquisitions, investment in technology and recruitment, with the stated aim of creating a national player in Italian insurance brokerage.
