FTL SEALS TECHNOLOGY acquired by IDEX CORPORATION

IDEX Corporation has completed the acquisition of FTL Seals Technology, bolstering its strategy to expand its sealing solutions and specialized technical components business. This move strengthens IDEX's expertise in high-performance sealing solutions for critical industrial markets by bringing on board FTL's technical expertise in designing rotary seals and custom components used in applications where reliability and safety are paramount. The acquisition complements IDEX's existing capabilities in fluid technology, specialized industrial equipment, and high-value engineering solutions. Following the transaction, FTL has been integrated alongside Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE), an existing IDEX subsidiary, within the Health & Science Technologies division. The combination of the two companies aims to merge FTL's application expertise in complex sealing solutions with PPE's material science and technical component manufacturing capabilities. This acquisition is part of IDEX's external growth strategy, which focuses on building a portfolio of complementary technologies in niche markets with high technical requirements. By combining the expertise of both companies, the group seeks to enhance its offering to industrial equipment manufacturers and develop new commercial opportunities on a global scale. The acquisition is also expected to deliver operational and commercial synergies, while expanding IDEX's presence in several strategic industrial markets, including energy, oil and gas, mining equipment, and marine applications.
