VYCAS acquired by LOXAM
Context
Loxam Iberia announced on 1 October 2026 the acquisition of VYCAS (Vallas y Cierres Asturias), the Gijón-based specialist in the manufacture, rental and sale of modular units, fencing and temporary facilities. The purchase gave Loxam Iberia its first branch in Asturias and extended its coverage across northern Spain. At the time of the deal, VYCAS had 35 years of activity behind it, employed 30 people and operated a fleet of around 1,100 modules, alongside its own manufacturing capacity. Its work centred on designing and supplying temporary buildings and site equipment for industrial, construction and infrastructure projects, capabilities that Loxam Iberia planned to add to its own modular space offer. The acquisition followed Loxam Iberia’s purchase of Marzabú Hnos, in Ciudad Real, as part of a strategy of widening both its territorial coverage and its range of specialist services in Spain and Portugal.
The acquisition of Vycas is part of the growth strategy of Loxam, which already has several external growth operations under its belt, notably Mills in 2026.
VYCAS, which reported an EBITDA margin of in 2026, is valued in this transaction at an EV/EBITDA multiple of , a level to compare with the average currently observed in the Business Services sector (11.4x).
