Key Capital Partners invests in CELLTECH COMMUNICATIONS

Key Capital Partners took a significant minority stake in CellTech Communications, the British mobile telecoms infrastructure contractor, which employed around 50 people at the time. The three co-founders stayed in their roles, with James Browning joining as non-executive chairman and Mike Suart as finance director, alongside James Hall for Key Capital. The investment was intended to fund the company’s growth by widening the range of services it offers to the principal contractors it works for, strengthening its operations and its internal structure, and meeting the demand created by the rollout of 5G networks across the United Kingdom. Key Capital had previously backed WHP Telecoms, which it sold, and still held Lowton Infrastructure Group. Addleshaw Goddard advised it on legal matters, with BDO on tax structuring, while Bermans and Knights Corporate Finance advised the selling shareholders.
