Context

Aquasourca, accompanied by Stags, acquired a minority stake in Astr’in. The transaction was structured as an Owner Buy-Out (OBO), allowing the founders to cash out partially while retaining the majority of the capital and operational control. Key managers also increased their stakes. The new capital is earmarked to finance the expansion of the agency network (currently 5), the opening of new logistics platforms, and specific investments in the handling and storage of hazardous materials (Seveso constraints).

Target

Founded in 2002 near Lyon, Astr in began as a freight forwarder (charterer) before vertically integrating to become a complete logistics provider. The group operates a hybrid model: it owns a fleet of 110 trucks for transport and manages nearly 100,000 sqm of warehousing space for logistics. It serves a diversified client base ranging from specialized retail (Decathlon, Veepee, Boulanger) to heavy industry (K-Line) and energy (Enedis).
