CLINICAL PHARMACIST SOLUTIONS acquired by AGENTIS HEALTH GROUP
Context
Agentis Health Group acquired Clinical Pharmacist Solutions, the London-based provider of outsourced clinical pharmacy services to GP practices and primary care networks, in a deal announced on 25 August 2026. It was the second acquisition for Agentis, the Brighton pharmacy and digital health group backed by LDC, which had launched in September 2025 when it bought Living With, a digital health company specialising in condition-specific therapeutics and remote patient monitoring. Agentis had grown out of Ashtons, a medicines management, training and prescribing technology business established in 1984, which LDC had backed through a management buyout in March 2020. Under LDC, Ashtons had already added Firza, a provider of clinical pharmacy services to primary care, in December 2021. The purchase of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions brought together two businesses registered with the Care Quality Commission and serving complementary customers: Agentis came from pharmacy services for independent mental health hospitals and care providers, while Clinical Pharmacist Solutions worked with GP practices and primary care networks. Agentis planned to pair the pharmacists of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions with Living With, a platform then used by 40 NHS trusts, community providers and integrated care boards, to offer combined pharmacy and digital support for long-term conditions as the NHS developed neighbourhood health services and moved care from hospitals into the community. Chief executive Ruhina Kassam stayed at the head of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions to keep serving its existing customers, with Stephen Tuddenham leading Agentis Health Group as chief executive. Wedlake Bell advised Agentis Health Group on the acquisition.
CLINICAL PHARMACIST SOLUTIONS, which reported an EBITDA margin of in 2026, is valued in this transaction at an EV/EBITDA multiple of , a level to compare with the average currently observed in the Healthcare & Pharma sector (14.3x).
